Hannah Guidry is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker serving clients across Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, and Maine. Her practice is built on the belief that therapy should feel steady, respectful, and genuinely supportive.
She works with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, and major life transitions. Hannah approaches each client with warmth and professionalism, creating an environment that is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded.
Her work integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, sand tray work, and EMDR techniques. When appropriate, she also incorporates holistic practices such as Reiki, recognizing the connection between emotional and physical well-being.
Therapy with Hannah is individualized and intentional. She does not follow a rigid formula or impose a fixed agenda. Instead, she works alongside each client to develop a process that reflects their goals, pace, and strengths. Open communication is encouraged so that therapy remains empowering and aligned with what feels meaningful.
Hannah’s approach is informed by both clinical expertise and personal insight. Having experienced therapy herself, she understands the importance of creating a space where clients feel fully seen, respected, and heard. Her commitment is to provide consistent support while helping clients build clarity, resilience, and lasting change.

Outside the office

Outside of her work as a therapist, Hannah is a mom to children across a range of ages, which has given her a deep understanding of the different stages and challenges that come with growing up. She also has experience as a foster parent, supporting children with trauma, disabilities, and a variety of needs. These experiences shape how she shows up in her work, with patience, flexibility, and a genuine understanding of how complex life can be.
She enjoys being outside, spending time in nature, and finding small moments of calm and connection. She believes that meaningful change happens one person at a time, often through simple acts of kindness and connection.
