Child and Adolescent Therapy
Hannah provides therapy for children and adolescents in a way that is developmentally appropriate, structured, and responsive to each child’s unique needs.
Sessions may include talk therapy, creative interventions, skill-building exercises, or a combination of approaches depending on the child’s age, personality, and presenting concerns. Some children benefit from direct conversation. Others engage more comfortably through structured activities, drawing, or guided reflection. Hannah tailors each session to meet the child where they are while gradually building emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence.
Parent involvement is thoughtfully integrated into the therapeutic process. Depending on the child’s needs, sessions may include time with caregivers present, individual time with the child, or scheduled parent check-ins. Hannah works collaboratively with families to clarify goals, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
When appropriate and with proper consent, Hannah communicates with schools, extracurricular providers, or other caregivers to ensure consistency and coordinated support. This may include collaboration with teachers, school counselors, activity leaders, or childcare providers when alignment benefits the child’s progress.
Hannah’s approach balances warmth and structure. Children and teens are offered a space where they feel heard and respected, while parents receive guidance and practical strategies to support growth at home. Therapy is individualized, collaborative, and focused on long-term skill development rather than short-term behavior management alone.
